Orphaned machine in Director

Kevin Johnson1709156997

Good Morning,

A few months back I removed a machine from our VDI environment because it was constantly having issues.  I put it in maint mode.  Shut it down.  Removed it from the delivery group.  Deleted the AD account and removed it from the device collection.  Finally, deleted the VM itself.  For whatever reason this machine is still showing as "stuck on boot" in Director.  The failure reason is listed as "Machine Removed".  How can I get rid of this ghost?

Good day!
I solved the problem by deleting records in the monitoring database. You need to find entries in the monitordata.machine table by machine name and determine the values for the MachineId column. Delete records for the found MachineId in the monitordata.machinefailurelog and monitordata.session tables. Then delete the entries in the monitordata.machine table. Before work, be sure to make a backup of the database.
