Licensing Issues after Trial Expiry

Question

I have a new installation of VAD complete with a new License Server. All current latest versions as at 30/12/2019.

 

I have purchased "Citrix Virtual Apps Base" license through our cloud vendor. 

 

I can remember back in the days when we had a Platinum Partner level with Citrix that licensing was always a freaking nightmare, so I'm kind of annoyed it still appears to be the same.

 

Everything was going fine with Virtual Apps working nicely over VPN and such, however the "30 day trial" has now expired and I can't get it to pull the right licenses from the license server. I've even tried using our NFR keys which still appear valid for the current editions to see if that was the issue.

 

I've tried perhaps a dozen reboots, removing all the license files and re-importing them, and changing editions in Studio at least 12 times as well, but still can't find an edition/license combination that matches.

 

If anyone has any insight into whatever minor detail I've likely overlooked that would be grand,. So far my idea of "getting back into Citrix" has met with the usual nightmare of installation issues....
