Provisioning Powershell Get-AuditTrail Date SyntaxError

Tim Emunds

Question

Hello,

I'm struggling with a Powershell-Script. I want to filter the Audit Trail with BeginDate and EndDate, but I'm running into errors and cannot figure out why.

Error Message from Powershell: Get-PvsAuditTrail : The beginDate parameter is not formatted property, the correct format is yyyy/mm/dd or YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM.

My statement: Get-PvsAuditTrail -BeginDate '2019-12-01 00:00'

I tried every logical syntax there is. Also tried it with a variable, but the same error persists.

$mydate = Get-Date

$mydate2 = $mydate.ToString("yyyy-MM-dd HH:MM")

Get-PvsAuditTrail -BeginDate $mydate2

Does anyone have an idea? Can someone try it out and let me know?

We just installed PVS 1912.

Kind regards,

Tim
