Google Chrome extensions are getting corrupted when using UPM 1912 LTSR

Question

After upgrading to Citrix 1912 LTSR the Google-Chrome extensions are not mirrored correctly and were corrupted in users profile:

Eventlog:

[13256:15712:1223/193036.434:WARNING:chrome_content_verifier_delegate.cc(210)] Corruption detected in policy extension ibpfkplbhnbiklpjacjbaelahebmbmpp installed at: C:\Users\USERNAMER\AppData\Roaming\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\ibpfkplbhnbiklpjacjbaelahebmbmpp\1.2_0

The known workaround in https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX238525 is already set as described for us to mirror "AppData\Roaming\google\chrome\User Data\default\Extensions"

Is there an issue with UPM 1912 LTSR ? With 1909 it worked for us.

After removing the paths:

AppData\Roaming\google\chrome\User Data\default\Extensions

AppData\Roaming\google\chrome\User Data\default\Sync Extension Settings

from "Folders to mirror"

The extensions still gets corrupted or were not loaded on logon of the users.

We've followed the article under:

So what went wrong ?

Hi, Facing the same issue here
We have already done all the steps mentioned in this thread.
We also have gone through this support issue thread as well. -> https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/406258-google-chrome-extensions-are-getting-corrupted-when-using-upm-1912-ltsr/

Whenever there is a new version upgrade,
There are 2 folders created on this below path, ( 1 old version, and 1 new version)
\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions \ <version_number>
The old one still contains the files but the new version folder remains empty.

Is there any other thing which can be checked here ?
