Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /logon/LogonPoint/tmindex.html on this server.

We occasionally get this message (approx. once a day, different times) on multiple NetScalers (identical config) and we cannot access the system.  The issue resolves itself after a couple of minutes and everything works again.


The NetScalers are configured for SAML redirecting to ADFS.  They use a custom X1 theme.


I can see multiple entries for the following messages in the httperror.log


[Fri Dec 20 15:23:23.781756 2019] [access_compat:error] [pid 26932] [client :::0] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /var/netscaler/logon/LogonPoint/tmindex.html, referer: https://<URL>/Citrix/StoreWeb/

[Fri Dec 20 15:23:26.590246 2019] [access_compat:error] [pid 26932] [client :::0] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /var/netscaler/logon/LogonPoint/tmindex.html

Any help on what may be causing this issue?

Long short history the problem is due the the directory logon missing under /var/netscaler, It happens on some 13.0 and 13.1 versions.  One workaround could be if you have another working ADC copy this folder and load it in the problematic then reboot the appliance.
