To remove nodes from the VIP using the CLI, you can follow these steps:

1.     Log in to the NetScaler appliance using SSH or console access.

2.     Identify the VIP for which you want to remove nodes. You can use the following command to view the configured VIPs:

show lb vserver

Note down the name or IP address of the VIP you want to modify.

3.     Once you have identified the VIP, you can use the following command to view the configured nodes for that VIP:

show lb vserver <VIP_name_or_IP>

Note down the names or IP addresses of the nodes you want to remove.

4.     To remove a node from the VIP, use the following command:

rm server <node_name_or_IP>

Replace <node_name_or_IP> with the actual name or IP address of the node you want to remove.

For example, if you want to remove a node with the IP address from the VIP named "myvip", the command would be:

rm server

Repeat this command for each node you want to remove from the VIP.

5.     After removing the nodes, save the configuration changes using the following command:

save config

This will ensure that the changes are persisted across reboots.

Hi @Arvind Kandula ,

Thanks for the response , You have said in general how to remove the node ..However , Can you check the configuration I shared and guide me how can I remove the nodes as per my configuration ?

I also want to confirm these nodes are not being reused in other VIP's ...

And also , Is it not required to unbind the nodes from the service group before removing the nodes from the Netscaller configuration ?

Kindly confirm if the below commands to unbind and remove the node configuration is correct ?

unbind serviceGroup CSK_RRR_TEST_443 SERVERTEST010 8443

unbind serviceGroup CSK_RRR_TEST_443 SERVERTEST009 8443

unbind serviceGroup CSK_RRR_TEST_443 SERVERTEST008 8443

rm server SERVERTEST008

rm server SERVERTEST009

rm server SERVERTEST010

save config
