How to extend physical hard disk on XenServer

Yongho Kim

Question

Hi,

I want to check my disk status.

I have 2 Xenserver and added physical hard disk last week.

fdisk -l shows to me about that, but I'm not set partition yet.

Server#1 disk1, disk2, disk3(added last week)

Server#2 disk1, disk2(added last week), disk3(added last week)

Problem occurred after server reboot.

Server#1 disk2, disk3 is disable to use (disk2 maybe mount release)

Server#2 disk2, disk3 is disable to use

Q1. If I do not set partition on disk, is it disable to use? (create new VM, copy new VM..)

Q2. If I set partition but not set auto mount in /etc/fstab, is that disk disable to use after reboot ?

Please help..
