Non-Persistent XenDesktop VDI on Xenserver storage and caching settings

J.P. Marshall

I am running several non-persistent VDI machines on Xenserver and looking to upgrade to XS8.0 but want to make sure all of my settings are right as I rebuild the boxes.  Right now in my current environment I can't easily upgrade or patch the XS farm because it is using local storage as temp storage for the VMs so I don't think I want to do that but I would like to use some sort of caching on the hosts to not have to call to the SAN For everything.  Any suggestions on the best options to configure the new XS hosts and the connections in CVAD as well as the machine catalogs?
