Having issue with user session timeout on NetScaler Gateway

Hi All,


I have configured Citrix gateway for XenApp/Desktop. Having issue with user session timeout settings. 


Below are setting on Session Profile:


Session Timeout: 480 mins

Client Idle Timeout : 30 mins


Backend StoreFront timeout : 20 mins


Problem: User getting timeout message “Your logon has expired, Please click to logon" after 30 minutes logged onto portal, but when they click,  it returns back to the published apps without re-authenticating again


My question is this message coming from storefront or NetScaler? If NetScaler then why its not asking user to re-authenticate. 


Is there any best practice to set a timeout values for gateway (used for published Xenapp/desktop)?
