TCp profile

TCP profile is a way to group a related set of TCP settings once and apply to one or more TCP-based vservers or service/service groups.  They are not required to be used, but easier than managing tcp parameters globally or individual per vserver/service and some parameters can only be managed via a TCP-profile.  HTTP-profiles manage web settings and similarly override global http parameters and or some of the individual vserver/service/service group properties.

If you createa  TCP profile on the primary member of the HA pair the command will propagate to the partner ADC and so the profile will be present on both.

If there is a conflict of settings, tcp profile assigned to service/vserver overrides similar tcp parameters configured in the service or vserver properties or the global parameters.
