Deny Rule for Shortcut

Christoph Sinabell

Hi all,

Is it possible to create Deny rule for shortcuts? For example all Domain Users get shortcuts A,B,C, except users member of a specfic group who only receive A and C. We have used access based enumeration with redirected desktops previously where this was simply done by setting a Deny ACL on the particular shortcut for a particular group.

You could use app masking combined with wem the setting “check application existence” in wem ..... works an absolute treat - if user can’t see it, wem won’t create the shortcut

else you will need to relate a condition for active directory group match or not match and then tag it on your assignment
