Shift+F11 doesn't minimize XenApp/Virtual Apps 7.15 Published Desktop

Nishith Gupta

Question

I have tried putting the following in default.ica, enabling "Keyboard Shortcuts" policy inside User Config/Administrative templates/Citrix/User Experience and setting the values Hotkey13Shift=Shift and Hotkey13Char=F11 inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Client Engine\Hot Keys on client computer but pressing Shift+F11 doesn't minimize published desktop at all.

I have checked https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX140219 and https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX115230?recommended as well.

Hotkey10Char=F5
HotKey10Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey11Char=plus
Hotkey11Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey12Char=F12
Hotkey12Shift=Shift
Hotkey13Char=F11
Hotkey13Shift=Shift
Hotkey1Char=F1
Hotkey1Shift=Shift
Hotkey2Char=F3
Hotkey2Shift=Shift
Hotkey3Char=F2
Hotkey3Shift=Shift
Hotkey4Char=F1
Hotkey4Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey5Char=F2
Hotkey5Shift=Ctrl
Hotkey6Char=F2
Hotkey6Shift=Alt
Hotkey7Char=plus
Hotkey7Shift=Alt
Hotkey8Char=minus
Hotkey8Shift=Alt
Hotkey9Char=F3
HotKey9Shift=Ctrl

We have checked in house with thin client Win7em + Receiver 4.9.7000 in below configurations and we are able to minimize desktop session using Shift+F11. Can you please re-check it?

Configuration 1:

On Storefront, edit file default.ica under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\Store\App_Data, and disable toolbar by Add ConnectionBar=0 under [Application].

On client, enable policy Keyboard shortcuts.

On client, setting the values Hotkey13Shift=Shift and Hotkey13Char=F11 under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Client Engine\Hot Keys.

Configuration 2:

On Storefront, edit file default.ica under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\Store\App_Data and add value Hotkey12Shift=Shift and Hotkey13Char=F11 with or without configure registry keys on Client.
