Constant problem with session / server freezing. DCOM Event

Jacob Dixon1709152413

Question

We have one particular server where we have issues with a session going crazy and locking up, apps locking up, etc. When looking in the event log there are a ton of DCOM 10010 errors:

The server {7208BD48-B348-4A35-B870-EAD2CDF1670B} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Looking into this further this app ID is:

Citrix.Dmc.Vda.Com.SessionObject

Has anyone experienced this? I'm thinking this is the root cause of the lockup problems for the user. We are running 7.15 CU3 on Server 2016 standard. The VM is running on Hyper-V 2016.

We have the same problem. Once or twice a day the screen freezes on our Fujitsu terminals. But we found out that the Citrix session is still working correctly. On the monitor but is no longer displayed. We also use Citrix Files. But if that is the reason? Does nobody else have an idea? Our system: Win2019, VDA 1906.2, WEM 1906.0.1.1

I just migrated a customer from 2016 to 2019 server (fresh) and they still have the problem. Mainly when accessing large PDF's from within their S: drive using Citrix Files. I'm fairly confident this is ShareFile causing the problem. I'm not fighting it anymore and moving people over to OneDrive+Sharepoint.
