Disable Citrix Receiver Login Pop-Up Prompt

Question

we have Login Prompt PopUp from Citrix Receiver asking for User Name and Password repeatedly. Searched and tested days for a solution. 

 

HOW can I switch OFF the automatic Pop Up alltogether via registry (for some PCs) but keep the login prompt if somebody opens the the Citrix Receiver manually.

This happens for new users on a PC and to existing users. 

 

Users are trained to access there Applications on XenApp via StoreFront web page - some noticed that it is possible via native Citrix Receiver as well.

 

Citrix Receiver in 4.9.7000 with XenApp 7.15 CU4 and StoreFront 3.12.4000 - NO load balancer in front of SF, currently only in LAN, NO access from Internet yet.

Initially SSON was enabled in StoreFront and everything went smooth. But than decision taken to deactivate SSON on StoreFront since lots of Users login on workstation with generic department accounts and they need to open XenApp Session with personal accounts.

 

Since switching OFF SSON on StoreFront the users receive the Login Prompt from Citrix Receiver quite frequently  (I can change the frequency with the change of 'RefreshMs'). 

I tried several solutions with NO success (latest was https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX213755).

 

According to 'https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX221465' I can set RefreshMs, InitialRefreshMinMs, InitialRefreshMaxMs to high values - but our PCs run 24 hours a day with generic users, so once in a while the pop-up drops in which I need to avoid.

 

I could take out the AutoStart for 'concentr.exe' and 'redirector.exe' BUT after once a user has lauched Citrix Receiver problem happens again.

I'm having the same issue with the new 4.9 Citrix Receiver. I have:

1. Disabled the Startup in Task Manager

2. Changed the registry flags according to this documentation
