We are using Windows Server 2016 and are experiencing 1 1/2 - 2 minute processing times. We currently have a ticket open with Citrix to investigate the causes of this. We get 30 second processing times with a blank WEM config. We had hoped that WEM cloud would be comparable with the on-prem offering in terms of processing times.

30 seconds to process a config isn't going to be an acceptable time for us in a production environment.

There is a private fix which may help - ill ask the team to get in touch

In the meantime, try enabling "use cache even if online"

Hi James

If we could get the private fix to apply that would be great. We tried enabling "Use cache even if online" some time ago but this had little effect on process time. As mentioned above, we do have a ticket open with Citrix (opened 19th Sept).

Whats the fix and is this for wem 1909 aswell?

The fix provided was for 1908.2.0.1 and came in the form of a .dll (Norskale.Common.Data.Agent.Proxy.dll).

We tested with the current version (1910.1.0.1) and processing times went back to 1 - 2 mins. I tried applying the fix with version 1910.1.0.1 but it prevented the WEM service from starting and so we reverted back to 1908 and re-applied the fix.

Citrix have since informed us that version 1910.1.0.1 had been wrapped before the fix had been released to us and that it would be included into the next version so we are awaiting the release of that before updating the agent again.
