Citrix XenApp 7 Local app launch get process name

Marc Gemp1709157697

Currently we use the local app launch in our Citrix infrastructure. We have several Citrix applications installed on the server image and through local app launch we can no longer see in citrix studio if anyone has the application in use.

Currently I am looking for a Powershell command to query all logged on users to check if they have an application with the process name "XXX. in the citrix director I can see the processes per user. Is there a solution?

best regards

Add-PSSnapin Citrix.Broker.Admin.*

Get-BrokerMachine -MaxRecordCount 5000|Where-Object SessionCount|ForEach-Object{ Get-CimInstance -ComputerName $_.DNSName -ClassName win32_process -Filter "name = 'outlook.exe'" } | select pscomputername,sessionid,processid

You could then pipe through Group-Object PSComputername to get a list of the machines with the process running on, with a count of instances
