Thanks Alex for the reply. I have one final question, will the user have to update their apps after this is upgraded on the XenMobile server side? Will it prompt them to get the upgrade or how does it work?

This is my first time of doing this.

Hi jfranci418,

Our corporate devices are mainly Android devices and a few iOS devices.
On the Android devices the apps are updated automatically after a certain time. According to Android default settings.
We do not control update cycles on iOS or Android.

So far we haven't had any bad experiences with the Secure Container updates on the end devices.

If new features are added by a new update, the MDX should be on the same level as the container app on the device so that the features work.

Greetings
Alex

We are currently in version 10.10.0.7 (Software release build 10.10.0.7). I am planning to upgrade all the MDX apps to 19.8.0 for both Android and IOS. Any suggestions and considerations before I an proceed with the upgrade.

Thanks in advancce

Hi jfranci418,

normally the mdx files can be easily updated.

In the past, I've always done this just like that. There have never been any problems.

You should always check if all settings are set correctly.

Best regards

Alex
