Mirrored folders and excluding subfolder

Question

I'm a little bit confused of mirroring and excluding folders (like Google-Chrome).

We've mirrored the following folder

[...]

AppData\Roaming\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default

[...]

But wanted to exclude the subfolder

[...]

AppData\Roaming\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default\Code Cache

[...]

Both is set in the GPO for Citrix UPM, but the Subfolder "..\Code Cache" is still roamed on logoff.

How can I exclude subfolders, when the topfolder ist mirrored ?

We are running Citrix Virtual Apps&Desktops 19.06 with UPM 19.06 on Server 2016 / 2019.

mirroring doesn’t allow exclusions, but with 1906 VDA UPM sync is working again

Jens,

Are you saying that we can move all the Google folders into Sync/Exclude now instead of having to mirror them?

I'm running into an issue with AppData\Local\Packages - Microsoft.Edge creating a lot of bloat and I want to put it in the excludeed folders list. However, it's not excluding it because it's i nthe mirrored policy (we try and create store apps).
