PowerShell command to launch unvisible application

Laurin Duerscheidt

Question

Dear forum,

Idea: Publish a application which is hidden in the citrix receiver.

Situation: I published an application in storefront where the visibility is limited. This means, the application is hidden in the citrix receiver. Now I want to launch the hidden application by an powershell script/command on my client (Windows 10 machine).

I'm able to launch citrix application which is visible through powershell:

Start-Process 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\SelfServicePlugin\SelfService.exe' -ArgumentList  "-qlaunch application"

If I want to use the same command for an hidden application it is not gonna work. -> Log says: Application not installed

Is there any other powershell command to run an hidden application?
Is there a other way to hide an application in the citrix receiver?

Citrix XenDesktop Version: 7.15

Citrix Receiver: 4.12

Thank you in advance.
