Citrix receiver or Workspace does not work with my HP Spectre laptop

I have a client who utilized Citrix receiver for remote users to gain access to their system.  Citrix downloads and installs ok.  I then go into the client remote website and can log into the main page.  However, when I try to use any of the applications (when Citrix is required) the screen freezes. I have tried all the versions of Citrix receiver and the Workspace app on my HP Spectre laptop.  It was suggested I try Receiver LTSR With CU7  which I also did to no avail.  I have a HP Spectre x360 – 15- ch011dx Windows 10 Home 64-bit with an Intel (R) UHD graphics 620 and Intel Core 1.80GHs processor. Interestingly, on my network the Citrix Workspace App works fine on my Dell Windows 10 64-bit desktop.  I am thinking there is a setting in my laptop but I haven't got a clue what it is. Any ideas?
