We are using Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 1906 with the Citrix Workspace client 1905 and we have the problem that a second application in a shared session does not open the selected file.
For example, we have a published application notepad that is associated with .txt files. If we have no Citrix connections active and we select a .txt file, the published application notepad is started and the .txt file is opened. So far, so good. However, if the published application notepad is already running, and we select another .txt file, another notepad is started with de warning “The system cannot find the path specified.” and the selected file is not opened. More in general, if any published application is started in an pre-existing session, independent of the application that is already in the session, the application is started, but the selected file is not opened.
The problem seems to be in passing the name of the selected file on the client to the application on the server. With the first application in a session, the name is passed perfect. With the second application, “garbage” is passed (see attached screen grab).

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
