First you need to be able to access CLI to change network information for the XMS.

After i would create a clone of, for example, XMS 1 with server powered off and move the clone to new esx.

Try to start it and change the IP.

If if it works fine, then just move the 2 running servers to the new esx.

You will need to test things to ensure it’s working correctly.

Thanks

Arnaud

Hello

you do not need to know it

in fact to add a new node on the Cluster you can clone one of the current one.

Feel free to ask if you need guidance.

Thanks

Arnaud

Hi Arnaud,

Citrix wanted to do the same, unfortunately, these servers were built by some consulting company and they are sitting on a different vsphere environment (5.5 earlier). I only got the info for the ESXi Host IP and I logged in and got onto the VMs. Now, i was able to browse to the data-store and create a new folder and copy the files to it, but even once I bring this up, it is going to be available on that environment. How will I be able to move it to my new VSphere environment?
