Site hangs at /cgi/setclient?wica

Recommended Posts

Hi,

User are able to login to Netscaler successfully and post that the page is stuck at /cgi/setclient?wica and not directed to /Citrix/SSON page. This is happening Intermittently and I am unable to reproduce the issue all the time. However i managed to capture trace (attached).

-During the issue, i tried to change the session profile to point to Storefront server directly instead of VIP and it works fine. However since the issue is intermittent I am unable to decide if VIP is the Culprit.

-At the issue of issue, storefront services and Storefront LB VIP are in UP state.

- USIP is disabled

- no related errors on Storefront

I have attached the Trace results. On the left is non working trace and on the right is working trace

NSIP - X.X.190.151
Gateway VIP - X.X.32.72
LB VIP for SF – X.X.190.135
Endpoint IP - X.X.51.62

Has someone experienced this issue? Any help here is appreciated.

Device Version: NS12.1 50.31.nc

Do you have persistence set on your StoreFront LB vServer?

Do you have a callback set in your NetScaler instance (on StoreFront)?

If so, can you browse to it from StoreFront without any warnings?

Do you have persistence set on your StoreFront LB vServer? - Yes, it set to SOURCEIP

Do you have a callback set in your NetScaler instance (on StoreFront)? - NO

One more thing I forgot to mention is on Storefront some of the sites are configured to use Load balanced IP instead of Individual delivery controllers.
