Connection error for new session after reboot

Mark van Beek

Question

I've done a completely fresh install of KUbuntu 19.04 and installed icaclient 19.3.0.5 with its missing dependencies, copied the certificates according to

The workspace app worked fine and I was able to get a Citrix session from work. Then I rebooted my home computer and trying to connect again I got:

Workspace_conn_error.thumb.png.e860c0b64620460899de0f08356ac542.png

I had exactly the same with Ubuntu 18.04, so it seems reproducible.

Then when I completely remove the account from preferences and add it again, it works again. The strange thing is that I have to login twice, I guess it's to: First connect to the server (login + SMS passcode) and second login again, but then specifically the domain is requested with the username. When I connect to the same server on my Windows laptop, I only have to do login + SMS passcode to get into the session... It seems like the Linux client tries to use the same connection session data again...?

What can I do to analyze this further?
