Hiding applications on a published desktop

Carol Hubbard

I've searched the forums for this question and I'm not able to find what I'm looking for so hopefully someone can help me out. We would like to published a locked down desktop for users in our XenApp 7.15 farm. Publishing the desktop is easy, but I have yet to find a way to prevent users from seeing/accessing certain applications. We use provisioning services in our environment so all the application servers use the same image.

I was testing earlier as a standard user and found I was able to launch administrative applications like ADUC, which a standard user absolutely shouldn't have access to. Is there a way, with Group Policy perhaps to ensure that users only see applications they have access to? Or do all users see every application that is installed on the server and we're just out of luck?
