Force a login window to pop to the foreground

Jeffrey Gump

Question

Hello, we have a hosted application from a vendor that utilizes Citrix 7.15 Xenapp as a seamless application.  My organization is on receiver 4.9.6 LTSR.  The application has an IDLE timer of 31 minutes, which then suspends the application and creates a login box for re-credentialing lasting for 5 minutes.  I want to be able to make this login screen pop to the forefront of the end user PCs, even if they are using other applications, like local outlook or local excel.  If this login box is not addressed in the 5 minute window the hosted application closes which will also lock the user out of windows on the local PC since we run a dedicated session environment that requires this application(EMR system) open to be logged into the PC.

Is there a setting on the PCs that could be changed or at the Citrix farm level?

I have looked at the seamless flags, specifically FORCE MENU WINDOW TO HAVE OWNER, but have not been able to establish if this is the only possible solution.
