I just installed Citrix Workspace app 1910 and TransparentKeyPassthrough works!

Appearantly it's already out there since october 7th. As there doesn't seem to be a Debian repository, I'll just have to check regularly...

Great work!

Yep thanks for the heads up on this, upgrading worked, upgraded to Citrix Workspace for Linux Version 19.10.0.15 just now, and also I'm now running Ubuntu 19.10 Codename: eoan, and we are back to alt+tab working as expected when connected to a Windows session and drop back using ctrl+F2 to Ubuntu alt+tab window switching.

Had to set TransparentKeyPassthrough=Remote in /etc/icaclient/config/All_Regions.ini again to ensure it worked as I took the maintainers new version of config file to ensure I got all new features. Also upgraded USB package as well.

icaclient_19.10.0.15_amd64.deb

ctxusb_2.7.15_amd64.deb

Thanks for tracking

I am using Debian 11 (Bullseye) with icaclient 21.9.0.25.

I have set TransparentKeyPassthrough=Remote in All_Regions.ini

However, the ALT+Tab still flips between the Citrix remote Windows session and the windows on my local Debian desktop. Similarly WIN+D doesn't send the command to show desktop on the remote Windows machine.

As a follow up, I have disabled Wayland which has resolved the issue.

To disable Wayland I removed the comments in /etc/gdm3/daemon.conf like this...

[daemon]
# Uncomment the line below to force the login screen to use Xorg
WaylandEnable=false

...and rebooted.

On Debian 10 with icaclient_19.1.0.9_amd64.deb installed, alt-tab did not work for me either.  Accidentally discovered that alt-win-tab worked as an alternative.

Good find, nice one.

Would be good to get TransparentKeyPassthrough to work as designed. Anyone made any progress on that one?
