XenMobile - Issue to enroll device with Android Enterprise mode

Question

Hi, all

We have 2 DGs:

  • DG1: Users enrolls in the regular enrollment process - Users type the only username on SecureHub and enroll is completed without issues.
  • DG2: Users enrolls in Android Enterprise mode - if user put the only username on SecureHub, the enroll fail - ADB log, shows the error "Unable to get a valid profile row ID. profileId = -1"; enrollment is complete successfully if user put domain\username.

*LDAP settings are SAMAccountName

Is there any setting I can do to AE users enrolls just with username?

I have the same issue. It's a "cool" easter egg put in by Citrix. When using only SamAccountname XenMobile creates it with default domain but when it tries to get id for that account it queries google without that domain and fails to find it. Did you find a solution for this?

this is with domain:

My best guess is that XM doesn't set default domain on AE.

Hi there,

It is not possible to enrol using only the username, the domain must be included also.

See the details at the following link for more information:  https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenmobile/server/provision-devices/android-enterprise/legacy-android-enterprise-for-g-suite-customers.html#enrolling-android-enterprise-devices

If the XenMobile server is configured to search for users by SAM users must enter a SAM in one of these formats:

username@domain

domain\username
