Certificate errors after Vsphere upgrade - also cannot edit thumbprint

Patrick Carty

We have recently upgraded our Vsphere to VCSA  6.7.0 (VMware vsphere server appliance)

Since then, I am getting certificate errors in Studio on the Delivery Controller and cannot edit or make new host connections.

I have read many articles and kb's and followed the instructions to download and import the cert from the vsphere landing page (done) and also have obtained the rui.crt certificate from the appliance and imported that into Trusted People

I have followed the instructions in https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX224551 to view the current thumbprint in use and it is indeed different. However, when I follow the instructions to change the thumbprint to the new certificate, I get the following: "Set-Item : Cannot connect to the VCenter server due to a certificate error. Make sure that the appropriate certificates are installed on the VCenter server, and install the appropriate certificates on all machines that contain instances of the Host Service"

Any hints or tips gratefully received!
