How do I configure SSL Persistence in Netscaler

Recommended Posts

On a load balancing vserver of type SSL or SSL_TCP, SSL_BRIDGE, in the GUI go to the persistence section and one of hte options under in the drop downlist is SSLSession to set up persistence based on SSL Session ID.    Depending on the app. sourceip might be preferred.

https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/netscaler/12/load-balancing/load-balancing-persistence/session-id-persistence.html

From the CLI use:

set lb vserver <lbvservername> -persistenceType sslsession

To see cli options:

set lb vserver <lbvservername> -persistenceType ?

Entering the "?" will give you a list of persistence options.

Or use

help set lb vserver

help add lb vserver
