How to deliver Office 365 Business Essentials to end users

Lawrence Henry Jelian

Question

I would like to know what is the Citrix best practice to deliver the office 365 app to end users?

Office 365 Business Essentials

• Email hosting with 50 GB mailbox and custom email domain address

• Web versions of Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote (plus Access and Publisher for PC only)

• File storage and sharing with 1 TB of OneDrive storage

• Online meetings and video conferencing for up to 250 people

Thanks & Regards,

Lawrence

Published Apps? Published Desktops? Whats you Citrix Delivery Method?

Given its all Web other than Access and Published, then thats relatively easy - its web.....Access and Publisher may give you challenges as i am pretty sure on that SKU you cannot use shared computer activation....

For OneDrive, you need to put in FSLogix Containers, this should be available to you under your RDS entitlement (I assume Published Apps on Server OS here?)

Yes, I am looking at published apps instead of full desktop to end users. Since most of the apps like word, excel and powerpoint are web version and cannot be installed on the virtual app server, how to deliver them to end users?

If you can find how to setup those in youtube, it will be great!
