Windows 10 build 1809

We are rolling out Windows 10 build 1809 with VDA 7.15 CU3. I would to know if this windows build will also require controllers to be upgraded to 7.15 CU3. Currently they are on 7.15 CU1. Kindly advice

no they do not have to be lined up, VDA's can act independently from the Controllers version wise

I understand that. My question is does the controller needs upgraded to CU3 as well for Windows 1809 to work or just  the VDA agent is good enough.
