Default printer Citrix session

Good morning everyone,

 

I have a problem, to see if they can help me:

 

My client has a Citrix XenDesktop 7.15 CU 2 infrastructure with Windows Server 2012 servers running desktops. The problem I have is that the local PC printer does not recognize them as the default, and if we set it as the default when logging out, it does not save the configuration either.

 

Could you give me an idea?

You could try out the following:

You could also use the following policy "Printer Properties Retention". Set the policy to 'Held in profile only if not saved on client'.

Also, which printer are you setting as your default printer in the ICA session? Is it the same printer that is used as default by your client machine or a different printer?

In case you want a different printer as default in the ICA session than the printer which is used as default by the client machine, then see that the following changes are made in the policy "Default Printer": Set the policy to 'Do not adjust the users's default printer'.
