Desktop not starting

Question

Hi

I've just used the Citrix Guide to deploy an Ubuntu 18.04 Multi-User Desktop.

The whole AD Integration is working and the VDA is registered.

I now that there is only a package for Ubuntu 16, but I have seen in other forums that it should work also on Ubuntu 18.

As soon as I try to start a session I got this HDX Logs:

The system is running on VMWare and we don't use X.Org-Auth and we have no special graphic cards.

Any ideas?

Hi

Yes I've seen this post also before. All these xorg packages are all installed:

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg ubuntu-desktop xserver-xorg-core -y

sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg ubuntu-desktop xserver-xorg-core -y

xdping shows everything is OK except of the linux distri version because it is a newer version:

There is an expected Release of LinuxVDA soon ( like in less than 10 days ) and it is expected to have Ubuntu 18.04 support.

Will it also support RHEL 7.6 ?? The current LVDA documentations specifically states NOT to upgrade to RHEL 7.6.

LinuxVDA 1903 is Released and support for RHEL/Centos 7.6 and Ubuntu 18.04 support has been added.

Cool ! Have not upgraded LVDA before .. Based on the instructions, I simply upgrade LVDA to 19.03, and then I can upgrade RHEL from 7.5 to 7.6 ( removing that lock on RHEL 7.5 ). I do not see any reference on any other changes required for the upgrade to work ( e.g. no changes required in hypervisor ).
