NetScaler Load Balancing on different VLAN's

Recommended Posts

So I have setup a NS with the following information

NSIP: 192.168.1.50

Gateway 192.168.1.1

VIP: 192.168.1.100

Added another VLAN 10.11.1.1 and interface and SNIP in the same range.

I setup a few services and monitors pointing to a server on that VLAN.

I can ping those servers from the CLI but all the services are showing down.

The server state shows as enabled but I can't get any of the services to connect.

I have used HTTP port 80 but that doesn't work either.

What am I missing?

Hi,

Ping sources from the NSIP by default. Based on what you are describing your NSIP can reach the servers but not the SNIP.

Add a SNIP in the same network as the services/servers  ( if the interface can carry that traffic) or make sure routing and or firewalls allow traffic from the SNIP to the servers.

I am seeing traffic over 445, 139

Thank you!!
