Uppgrade from 7.18 to 1811 - any problems?

Question

Before I´m doing this, I want to be really sure about bugs or problems with upgrade to XenDesktop 7.1811 from Citrix_Virtual_Apps_and_Desktops_7_1811.iso

 

I´ve follow this from Citrix: https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-virtual-apps-desktops/upgrade-migrate/upgrade.html

But what I see I CANT upgrade in this sequence (Please see screenshot):
1. StoreFront

2. Director

3. Half DDC

4. Second half DDC

 

Heres´what I´m doing

a) I´ve done db backup and check license server and licenses

b) Now I first want to start to uppgrade Storefront only

But it´s not possible. The only choce is "Studio and Server components".

Then there is a pretty nice guide over issues when you upgrade but very confusing when these issues are just adequate when I upgrade

our Dellivery Controllers and not only StoreFront?

c) So, I stop the upgrade, because I want to know what this "Studio and Server components" is doing with our

Storefront server.

6. Upgrade the virtual Delivery Agent and perform an image update on all master images 

-what´s happen if we dont have time to doing 6. right now?

I´m really suprised that no one could answer this question. 

Maybe I was unclear or something. But anyway, I´ll answer it for those who have the same questions:

1. "Studio and Server components"  - the guide is general and relevant "only" when you upgrade your Delivery Controllers

2. "Studio and Server components" is only updating the StoreFront component.

3. Stop telemetry service or the uppgrade will fail.

Yes it is interpretation (understanding) problems regarding what Citrix says in the upgrade issues guide,
because there is a pretty nice guide over issues when you upgrade.
But this guide is very confusing when these issues are just adequate when I upgrade

our Dellivery Controllers and not only StoreFront.
Please se above screenshots over issues when upgrade.

This document says like this:

"..To upgrade existing deployments to this version of StoreFront, run the installation file for this version of StoreFront (in other words 1811).

 

-Ok, upgrade only the with CitrixStoreFront-x64.exe?

-So, upgrade from 7.18 to 1811 is not popssible through autoselect?

 

I also checked the Carl Stalhood website, but it looks like it is possible to upgrade with autoselect.

But in my case, the StoreFront component is greyed out (or not available).

But now I know what "Studio and Server components" is doing, but I must admit I was confused of what´s going on in the background.

It's like Apple - you dont know what´s happening in behind before its´s to late. ;0)
