Question

I recently installed from 'ICAClientWeb-rhel-19.1.0.9-0.x86_64.rpm' the new 'ICAClient-19.1.0.9-0.x86_64'. No I try to start the client from within a web browser, but it dies after a short message '..starting..'

abrt reports: wfica killed by SIGSEGV

Any idea what might be wrong?

Thank you

Somewhat similar here with ICAClient-19.1.0.9-0.x86_64:

wfica[13579]: segfault at a ip 00007f9abe570a35 sp 00007f9ab6af23a8 error 4 in libc-2.28.so[7f9abe431000+14d000]

Looks like the most recent ICAClient (and its predecessors) is not compatible with Fedora 29. It works fine in Fedora 28 though.

Perhaps an updated ICAClient is in order to make it work with Fedora 29 too??

Thanks
