XenServer restarting and creating crash dump file

Hi,

My server running xenserver 7.1, suddenly the server restarted and generated crash dump file, in the crash dump files, i only found these alerts in the dom0.log file:

[ 254740.831204]  ALERT: RIP  [] iscsi_xmit_task+0x2d/0xc0 [libiscsi]
[ 254740.830105]  ALERT: BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000078
[ 254740.870258]  EMERG: Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt

I need help to find out the exact reason of the problem to avoid the same happening in the future.

 

Specifications hardware:

Dell R620

CPU: 2x Intel Xeon E5-2680

Memory: 192GB and 8GB for control domain

Network: 6 Ports ethernet.

XS1 is too old to allow for updates unless you are running the LTSR version. you'll need to upgrade to a newer version of XS to be able to get the free hotfixes.

 

I'd suggest running extended POST upon reboot and checking preferably all your memory to make sure you don't have a bad module.
