Query regarding Footpedal device integration

Melvin Sebastian1709158416

Question

Has anyone successfully integrated Foot Pedals in Citrix .

On local machine we have Nuance Citrix client extension and PowerMic Citrix client extension installed, along with Philips speech drivers and associated registry keys are also added . Everything works perfect locally, pressing buttons on the foot pedal, starts recording on dragon.

On Citrix end, I have enabled USB redirection based on PID & VID and device is getting redirected successfully . Nuance PowerMic Citrix Server & Virtual Desktop Extension , Philips Speech Drivers and associated registry keys are installed On VDA.   Nuance Power Mic works fine on VDA but the main problem is with foot pedal device, there is no reaction on pressing of the buttons .  Any suggestions ?

For other people landing here ...
Have a look at https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX234916

On a Windows Client there is a registry key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\GenericUSB\DeviceRules) which denys some HDI Classes.

DeviceRules registry setting take precedent over Citrix policies in Studio, AD and Receiver.admx policies on the client computer.

After hours of searching and one hour remote session with citrix support i got pointed there.
