PVS Error "No device license is currently available for this computer"

Hi all,

 

I am using XenDesktop 7.15 environment with PVS 7.15. I used App Layering to create a vdisk in the PVS store from which I connected to my XD environment using XD setup wizard.

The disk less machine booted successfully from the vdisk and logging into the machine showed the following error.

 

While opening the published machine from storefront end user gets "Access is denied error".

 

The director shows that it is a license error.  

I am using Citrix Partner evaluation license that is valid upto 2019. However the Subscription Advantage has expired. But I am able to publish machines using MCS with the same license server.

 

Is the issue with license or any other mistake. Please help in resolving the issue.

This issue was resolved. It was due to license error. I have tried with the 30 day trial license that is obtained when installing the XA&XD for the 1st time, and it worked fine.

Partner eval licenses should have an SA date in the future.  Not sure how it shows a later expiration.  I would venture to say that the issue is license related.  You could always get a regular evaluation license like a customer and replace and see if the problem persists.
