No GUI after NMAS upgrade

Hi,

 

Upgraded my appliance (ESX) using the GUI and upgrade package 12.0 build 57.24 (before going to 12.1 build 49.37 - or that was the idea).

 

Post upgrade there is no GUI; just a "This page can't be displayed" in IE and in Chrome "This site can't be reached" - err_connection_refused. MAS appliance is up and pingable on management address after the FW upgrade, just no GUI.

 

Anyone seen this before or idea how to fix?

...left it alone for a couple of hours, came in this morning and GUI was up again. Not sure what it was doing in the background, but it took a very long time to bring the GUI back again. Everything seems normal and functioning as expected.

This issue still exists in 2023 and ADM 14.1 - not hours though, but 5-10 minutes after new install or upgrade.

Can't find any documentation that mentions this, but it seems like the web services responsible for the GUI has some sort of delay similar to the Windows Service Delayed Start.
