Cloud connectivity test fails

Chris Tyson1709156276

Question

After successful installation of the cloud connector and reboot, the final connectivity test fails with the error :

We were unable to validate connectivity.

We were unable to connect to the following addresses:

https://reg.c.nssvc.net:443/Control/Ping

A wireshark trace shows the connection failing on proxy authentication.

I have followed https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-cloud/citrix-cloud-resource-locations/citrix-cloud-connector/proxy-firewall-configuration.html and https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX221823 but neither mention a proxy account.

How/where do I configure a proxy account for the connector to use?

Hello,

Juste to say that it's pity that it's nowhere mention of "https://reg.c.nssvc.net/Control/Ping" as exception in the official documentaiton for cloud connector firewall exception.

We begin with a little "only 3 exceptions"

Then little more exceptions

And finally it's still needed to wait that the Cloud connector cotinue his little process to get the result "Hey ! One or two missing URL again, please ask you customer to add them on top of the others.. and sorry to let you pass for a incomptent!".

Citrix --> Please add the entire exceptions list needed for a smooth cloud connector install procedure without any hiccups and waste of time.
