Audio Problems with XenApp 7.15 CU1

Hi,

 

i have a really strange Problem with a xenapp 7.15 cu1 Server.

 

There is no Audio playing, no matter what Client or Receiver. I've tested on ThinClients and also on normal W10 Computer with diffrent Receivers. All the Same, Audio Devices are enabled and Visible on Citrix but just no Sound. 

 

There is also no Event Log or something like that. 

 

The Problem happens since Update VDA and SF/DDC Update to 7.15 Cu1 beforde there was no Problem with Audio Redirection.

 

I've testet transport Through UDP and TCP no diffrence. 

 

If i click on Test Tone in Control Panel Sound, there is a Window that says Failore on Test Tone.

 

Also in Citrix Director it means everythings ok with the Session in Audio.

 

It would be great if someone knows this problem.

Hi,

 

Check this if this solve the issue, however related to video.

Multicast might fail to display video when using Citrix Receiver for Windows newer than version 4.6. Audio is still available. As a workaround, add this registry key on the endpoint:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Citrix\HdxMediaStream\
Name: DisableVMRSupport
Type: DWORD
Value: 4
