Error Messages After Cert Renewal

Hi.

We recently had the certificate expire for our storefront servers.

We renewed the cert on the Storefront servers and the F5 load balancer.

Cert was added to bindings in IIS on the Storefront servers as well to 443.

We have a mixed farm. We are moving over to Xen 7.x and we still have Xen 6.5 running.

The 6.5 XenApp Servers now show an error dialogue if one connects using RDP.

"The server certificate is out of date, Connection dropped."

Does anyone know why it would still see an old certificate somewhere?

No issues with using the apps through Citrix at all using the web portal or older PNA agents using http URL in store settings fir the XML file.

New Receiver clients don't want to connect right either as they seem to see an old certificate however.

Thanks.

If I interpret this right, sounds like the RDS service on the server had cert bound to it that's now out of date. Doesn't sound like a Citrix issue, but rather an issue with having to update the cert used by the RDS service.  You can check that out by checking the local cert MMC for one of the servers and checking local computer\personal as well as remote desktop services\personal in the snap-in to see if there's an expired cert there.

Was your 6.5 farm configured for SSL relay? If so your XML brokers might be using an expired cert too possibly.
