Citrix Receiver Timing out "The network connection was interrupted ..."

Question

When a user tries to launch an application after updating citrix receiver to version 4.10 or 4.11 (latest version), the receiver connection pop up hangs for a minute or two, see below

and then eventually times out with the error "The network connection to your application was interrupted. Try to access your application later, or contact your help desk", see below

When I uninstall citrix receiver 4.10 or 4.11, and install version 4.9 or lower, the applications launch normally. We have XenApp 7.9. Anyone know if  there any major changes in version 4.10 or higher in terms of authentication or protocols that would cause the receiver to time out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Please collect the receiver cdftraces with latest receiver client software (using CDFControl) and share if possible. Are you seeing this issue when connecting via NetScaler Gateway or for internal session launch via storefront direct?

 

If you are able to see the issue consistently failing- I would suggest you log a support ticket.
