Select a smart card device

Jordy Minnebo

Question

Hi,

Another issue that I can't seem to solve is the following;

When logging in with an eID for tax on web etc in Belgium. I get the following error.

After Pressing 'aanmelden' (Sign In).

I get a certificate prompt with the name on the ID card so the passthrough is going fine.

When I confirm it, I get the following question.. Can't Press OK, and when pressing cancel the login attempt fails.

The eID viewer app also works fine.

OS: 2016server

VDA: 7.17 (issue also present in 7.16) it is a pretty new install.

Thanks in advance

Jordy

Together with Citrix support I managed to resolve this issue.

Configuring the following regvalue and restarting the Citrix SmartCard service resolved the issue:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\SmartCard

o                    Name: SupLowIntegrityProc

o                    Type: REG_DWORD

o                    Data: 1

This regvalue has been around for a long time (https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/325666-belgian-eid-in-xenapp-65/) but the corresponding value under Wow6432Node did not work for me. The normal value did work.

Thanks, I will write this down in our KB's.

Meanwhile we were using Firefox, but it would be nice to have this working in IE too : )

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue now, but only with Google Chrome. IE11 and Firefox dont have this issue, they see the smartcard.

I did implement all here mentioned registry keys, all smartcards services are running.

My environment is XA 1912 LT, Server 2012 R2, chrome 81 (tried both x86 and x64 versions)

any ideas?

THX
