PVS works with all versions of RDS (including 2016). However, some settings are maintained in the RDS 'central database' (e.g. Windows internal database), others are in the local registry of each RDSH VM. After enabling or disabling logons for a RDSH server with a vDisk in read-only mode (writes in PVS cache) through Server Manager (central management tool), this setting is not maintained after a reboot. Server Manager will show the modified setting, but the RDSH is not aware of the change as it boots from vDisk. If, for example, the logons within the vDisk are enabled, the server will boot with logons enabled.
