XenApp 7.11 upgrade from SQL Express to SQL Standard

TOM MCKEOWN

Question

I setup a site with two controllers and have installed quite a few apps and got SSL working, etc. When I run Citrix Insights, it tells me that the SQL Express is not good for a production environment. So, now I'm faced with either rebuilding the site or figuring out how to convert or upgrade to SQL Standard. I see that when XenApp installed, it used SQL Express 2014. I bought a couple server licenses for SQL Standard along with CALS. I should be all set there. Is there any documentation on how to do an in-place upgrade? I could use some help on this.

Thanks for the help.

Oh, one other thing. Apparently, the database is only on one of the controllers. From what I read, it should be on both in a high availability setup. I'm not sure how that is setup either. But I suppose getting the update done is first.
