Henning Strumpen1709153852 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, after upgrading my Xendesktop environment from 7.11 to 7.15, Studio cannot connect to the database. After starting Studio I am asked to start the automatic Site upgrade. Then it fails: "You are not authorized to perform this operation". I tried two users who are full Site admin and SQL admin. CarlStalhood Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 When attaching, click “Add to Post”. Make sure your Windows account is a sysadmin on SQL. Or you can do a Manual upgrade and send SQL scripts to your DBA.

Check if the DDC account has permission on all required DB roles like, MachinePersonalitySchema_ROLE, Monitor_ROLE etc..
