Cannot open Studio after Upgrade 7.11 > 7.15 - There was a problem communicating with the Citrix Delegated Administration Service.

Hi,

 

after upgrading my Xendesktop environment from 7.11 to 7.15, Studio cannot connect to the database.

 

After starting Studio I am asked to start the automatic Site upgrade.

 

Then it fails: "You are not authorized to perform this operation".

 

I tried two users who are full Site admin and SQL admin.

 

Please see detailed logfile attachment.

 

Any idea?

Citrix.Fma.Sdk.ServiceCore.AuthorizationFailureException: Failed to authorize operation SetDBConnection. Delegated Admin Service not registered. ---> Citrix.Fma.Sdk.InterServiceManager.NoMatchingServiceInstanceException: None of the service instances retrieved from the configuration service match the requested client profile

 

 

Looks like a database issue. You might have to contact support. Do you have a backup of the database?

Check if the DDC account has permission on all required DB roles like, MachinePersonalitySchema_ROLE, Monitor_ROLE etc..
