Cannot add Azure Hosting connection

Sergii Loshmanov

Hi guys,

I have XenApp 7.8 configured and running on-prem. Now I want to move to Azure, but cannot add Azure hosting connection.

Just in the first step when I import subscription ID file and click Next it gives me this error:

The supplied address for the compute resource is invalid. In this case, the compute resource is what hosts your virtual desktops (such as your hypervisor, a server running SCCM, or a cloud-based controller).

Exception : PluginUtilities.Exceptions.HostingInfrastructureCommunicationsFailureException: Failed attempting to connect to Azure ---> PluginUtilities.Exceptions.WrappedPluginException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> PluginUtilities.Exceptions.WrappedPluginException: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required.

It looks like a proxy authentication issue, but I have allowed direct internet access on both Delivery Controllers. Are there any prerequisites or some settings to configure proxy?

Looks like Studio gets proxy settings from somwhere or just keeps old settings in its config or the registry.

Eventlog says this:

Provider Health: The hypervisor was not contactable at the supplied address. (Reason = Failed attempting to connect to Azure).
ErrorMessage=The hypervisor was not contactable at the supplied address. (Reason = Failed attempting to connect to Azure)
